Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Development and Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for solar panels and related components
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement new production technologies
2. Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specificaions
- Investigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Develop documentation and process protocols to support quality assurance programs
3. Equipment and Material management:
- Oversee the installation, operaption, and maintenance of production equipment
- Evaluate and recommend materials to improve product performance and cost effectiveness
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure material specifications are met
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Generate regular reports detailing process performance, costs and efficiency improvements
5. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the production environment
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a solar manufacturing environment or related industry
- Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing processes is a strong advantage
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in process simulation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or process improvement methodologies
- Hands on experience with equipment calibration and troubleshooting
Soft Skills: Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication abilities
Working Conditions:
- Primary based in a manufacturing environment (Onsite)
- May require standing for extended periods, working with machinery
