Key Responsibilities: 

1. Process Development and Optimization: 

  • Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for solar panels and related components
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and waste reduction 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement new production technologies

2. Quality Assurance: 

  • Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specificaions
  • Investigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions 
  • Develop documentation and process protocols to support quality assurance programs 

3. Equipment and Material management: 

  • Oversee the installation, operaption, and maintenance of production equipment 
  • Evaluate and recommend materials to improve product performance and cost effectiveness
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure material specifications are met 

4. Data Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement 
  • Generate regular reports detailing process performance, costs and efficiency improvements 

5. Safety and Compliance: 

  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and environmental standards 
  • Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the production environment

Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a solar manufacturing environment or related industry
  • Knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing  processes is a strong advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in process simulation software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Strong understanding of Six Sigma, Lean  Manufacturing, or process improvement methodologies 
  • Hands on experience with equipment calibration and troubleshooting 

Soft Skills:  Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication abilities 

Working Conditions: 

  • Primary based in a manufacturing environment (Onsite) 
  • May require standing for extended periods, working with machinery
