Warehouse Operator
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operator position involves handling raw materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely distribution of solar components. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store raw materials used in solar panel production.
- Pick, pack, and prepare solar components for internal production and external shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated inventory systems.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to support a smooth production workflow.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of fragile solar components.
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems and supply chain processes.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to [insert weight limit].
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.

- Excellent time management skills

Working conditions:
- Works in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays
Physical requirements:
- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
