HR Generalist Supervisor
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide guidance.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution to maintain a positive workplace culture.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust as necessary.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, ensuring regular feedback and evaluations.
- Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Analyze HR metrics to assess departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports for management on HR activities, employee turnover, and training outcomes.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Help ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or work experience combination
- 5-7 years of experience in increasing level of responsibility in HR positions.
- HR Certification preferred

- Familiarity with human resource management software

Working conditions:
- Works in office
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
